Garmin G3000 is a the first touchscreen-controlled integrated flightdeck for light turbine aircraft says the press release.

Some features of G3000 include:

• icon-driven interface
• 5.7-inch diagonal touchscreen controller
• infrared touchscreen technology with audio and visual feedback
• 14.1-inch diagonal WXGA high resolution primary flight displays (PFD) and multi-function display (MFD)
• three-axis, fully digital, dual channel, fail passive auto flight system

Garmin expects to be certified for G3000 in the second half of 2011.
