| Huge capacity for such a small USB (it's smaller than I thought, which is great). It comes with a lanyard that can be unattached on the USB-end, which can be convenient. I haven't used the features with a CD that came along with it, so no comment on that. The only negative side of it, I think it takes longer time to save files than my old USB. |

I'm very impressed with this drive. I had originally bought a pair of 256MB drives in order to back up private information. I realized I needed more room to store my files on and decided on a 2GB Drive. Because of the price I ended up buying 2 of them and keep one on me at all times, the other is stored at home with files I don't keep on the PC.
If you're looking to buy a drive, you can't go wrong with this one. It's small, comes with a handy strap necklace that can be detached near the drive and the hole in the drive is small and very secure. It also comes with some great software including email, favorites, password protection and much more! |

The JetFlash V30 8 GB Flashdrive is exactly what you would expect - an easy to use plug-and-play USB drive. The drive was reasonably fast and I had no issues using it with my Mac (not that you would expect any). Once I plugged the Flashdrive into my USB port my Mac dislayed the Transcend icon on my desktop within 15 seconds.
The drive comes with a small plastic case for storage. You may want to note that this drive does not have any way to be fastened to a key chain - which while not important to me is a deal killer for some. While I traditionally make it a point not to comment on the packaging and delivery from Amazon - I will make an exception. The Transcend JetFlash came in a small cardboard envelope, which was perfect for delivery. Since the drive was in its plastic case there was little chance that it would be damaged. In truth, I would like to see Amazon shift to this type of packaging for more of their products.

It's a flash drive, there really isn't a whole lot of difference between various models, as long as they work. There is a little blue light on this flash drive that lights up when connected to your computer, and the light will flash when data is being transferred to/from the drive. I like that.
8GB is a LOT of storage. It's equal to about 2 DVDs or 11 CDs. Works fine in 3 different computers and a Playstation3.
The case is glossy black plastic and looks nice. Also comes with a lanyard.
