Kindle was one of the most successfull eBook readers on the market mainly because it was produced and had the support of Amazon , the largest online store in the world.

Now, after less than two years, Kindle is ready for a comeback with a new face and upgraded functions. There’s rumors on Internet that it will come around in February, on 9th to be exact.

From the first leaked pictures it seems that Kindle 2 has a more organic shape, without too many straight angles, that made the first Kindle look almost like an F-117 stealth bomber in while knight color. The second iteration is also white but has got a little slimmer.

The new unit will feature a joystick that replaces the previous scroll wheel and will charge of a miniUSB cable, not the dedicated charger that was needed for the first Kindle. The backplate is made of metal and there’s no SD card slot, but the unit seems to come with over 1.5 GB of internal memory.
