I read the reviews of others before my purchased and found that other Dell owners had the same problem as I do with plugging this card reader in the USB port on the front of the tower, but like them I merely got a cable to address the situation and everything is great.
I mostly use the card reader on my lap top while on the road to download pictures or upload mp3 songs or audio books to my memory cards.
Great little devise with a super price from Blueproton. Delivery was as promised.

I love the way this fits the SD cards. way better than my other sd readers.
Also at this size it is like having a jump drive with an exchangeable sdhc card. With an sdhc card in it you can have both caps on. Really it is sweet for the $5 that it costs. |

| For the money it is very hard to find anything that will come close to the features of this memroy card reader. Very compact and extremly versitile. I would certainly purchase it again. |

Works for me as advertised. Kind of a shame that there are TWO caps to lose, but that seems to be the way these are built at present.
Before I bought this one, I bought a CTCstore unit roughly equal to this one. It didn't work at all, but on the bright side, it was only half the price with shipping. (That one would have been a good deal at 1/100th the price.)
All in all, I guess I'm glad I bought another one. That way I if the BlueProton fails, I'll have another just like it. And in the meantime, it's nice to be able to get my pictures from my camera into the computer. Buy this one ONLY if you want it to work - though it is a dud for some, you can't rely on that. |
