Brilliant Product

Reviewer: Naoki Ogishi,
I was in the market for a new bag for work. I've never bought a lowepro product but their reputation was good, so I thought I'd give it a try.

What a pleasant surprise! Construction is fantastic, heavy material and stitching all around. Black with orange accents, it achieves a nice balance between conservative and trendy.

Also, this product can hold alot of stuff without losing it's shape too much.

This product also has alot of pockets, although I think that it should have more zippered pockets for loose items (has 3).

I'd recommend this product and definitely buy from Lowepro again.
Awsome bag!

I got an excellent price for this bag and Beach Camera shipped it promptly. I had several camera bags made by Lowepro before, so I am not at all surprised about the excellent quality of the bag. Here are things worth noticing:

1. Inside color is orange. Unexpected, but it is fine with me. Some people might not like it however.
2. Laptop compartment fits my Sony Vaio 15.4" widescreen snugly. I had to remove the nano mouse adapter to slide it in. Note that the nano mouse adapter is very small. However, a 14" widescreen slides in easily.
3. It is bigger than I expected, but again, it is fine.
4. There are 3 inside pockets for power adaptor and cables, keep them out of the way. There are several pockets under the flaps with velcro flaps to keep things from dropping out.
5. Shoulder pad is slide along the strap, so it fits nice to the way you carry it.

Overall, I am very happy with the bag. Buy it, if you are looking for a laptop messenger bag. After all, you can't go wrong with the price.
Pleasently surprised.

After reading the reviews of this product, I was worried that I would get a bag that wasn't capable of carrying my laptop - but the price was too good to pass up, so I thought I'd risk it. When the box got here, I opened it up, and was surprised at how spacious, and well-put together the bag was. I had no problem slipping my laptop - Dell Inspiron 1525, 15.4" - inside. The fit is a little snug, I'd really only have the slightest trouble pulling it out quickly, if I end up needing to, but I feel secure that my laptop is safe inside of this bag. There's padding on the back, where it would rest against the body, and the sleeve that the laptop slides into is padded from all sides. There are more pockets than I was led to believe, which is an absolute plus! There are three medium to large sized pockets inside, perfect for, perhaps, hand held systems - like a PSP, or DS. There are also two outside pockets, made for iPods, or cell phones, and a little mesh pocket for whatever smaller items you may need, including three or four slots for pens or pencils. There is also a smaller pocket on the outside flap, for items you may need to access more easily, and don't have the time to unsnap the clasps.

In addition, there's a (removable) strap to, I assume, wrap around the body, should you be using this bag while biking, or if you feel the need to have a little more security that it won't fall. The quality of this bag is excellent, and I'm very surprised and happy about that. I was looking for a bag to take on a cross-country trip, and hadn't been able to find one yet that could fit everything I need. As well as the laptop sleeve, there's a great deal of space in the larger pocket, enough for books, the accessories for your laptop, or anything else you may end up needing. It's a great bag for casual use, as well as hard, everyday use.

It's absolutely worth it for the price, and I love it already. All I needed was a bag for one trip, but I know I'll be using this bag very often in the future!

To anyone who's considering purchasing this bag - go ahead! Make sure you look up the measurements on the Dell Inspiron 1525 - as that is the very limit to what the laptop pocket can accept!
Great Laptop Bag

This is a great laptop bag. (From the maker of some of the best camera bags) It looks nice and decent even in an office environment. The pads are placed on all sides except the top where it is more unlikely to hit the ground if you drop it. Nice adjustable shoulder strap with comfortable padding. Lots of pockets, some with velcros and some zippered. Feels really sturdy enough. I love some of the small details like the zipper handles, rubberized grip, etc. My Macbook 13.3" sits perfectly. I do not have a 15" notebook but I could understand why some of the 15" notebooks would not fit. My Macbook is smaller and it just have a little wee room to spare.
Well worth the money

For a bag under $20, it is an AWESOME bag! I got it from Beach Camera for $12.90 with free shipping. I wanted a small laptop messenger to carry my work laptop, kindle, ipod, and water bottle. This bag fits it all and more. Not only that, but Lowepro has excellent construction. All my lens cases for my DSLR are from Lowepro. A previous reviewer commented on the orange lining. I know ebags does that with their bags so that you can actually see what's in your bag (vs if it was black, it's harder to see). I knew there was a water bottle pocket on the side, but didn't expect all the other pockets that come with it. I was pleasantly surprised. Also included is a stabilizer strap so if you wear it crossbody, it doesn't swing around and whack your butt so much. Highly recommended bag, especially for the price. You can't go wrong.
